Deeds are written legal documents transferring ownership of property from one person to another person. They are kept at the county level except for Connecticut, Vermont, and Rhode Island, where deeds are recorded at the town level. Massachusetts is divided in 21 registry districts with an elected Register of Deeds responsible for each office.
Jean is a full-time realtor and has been in the real estate market since 2011 and has enjoyed every minute of it. Land and property records can be a great resource when researching your ancestors. As a realtor, Jean has spent many hours examining these documents, specializing in Bristol County records. She will explain what the records contain, how to access them and what you should expect to find. Join us for this presentation and learn how these documents can help in your genealogical research.
There is NO In-Person Meeting. Presentation is Virtual.
